This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Acquire first notice of loss reports for straightforward auto and property claims through an Express Claim Center.
• Address customer inquiries regarding procedures, policies, and subsequent steps; update claim details as necessary.
• May organize inspections, dispatch mitigation vendors or contractors to customer properties, or arrange temporary accommodation as required.
• Communicate with customers and other claim-related third parties to gather and provide essential file information in accordance with quality and process standards.
• Receive, assess, and direct incoming telephone calls and other electronic communications.
• Record first notice of loss claims, clarify the basic claims process, and offer general information to customers.
• Collect, print, fax, or send supporting documents to vendors or others as instructed.
• Manage claim files (locate/request files, file paperwork, reconstruct missing files, correct misfiled documents, forward to other offices, etc.).
• Execute clerical tasks, including data entry, filing paper documents, managing emails and calendars, and word processing.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; multilingual capability preferred. This position mandates bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure and handle high volumes while completing tasks efficiently.
