This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Investigate automobile accidents that involve personal injury.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages.
• Deliver customer service through voice calls, emails, text messages, and occasionally video chats.
• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Conduct liability investigations and make final liability determinations.
• Identify injured parties in addition to those listed at the First Notice of Loss.
• Recognize significant risk potential on claim files.
• Assist claimants throughout the vehicle restoration process.
• Provide insights on the Auto process.
• Collaborate with Casualty Adjusters throughout the claims process.
• Review damages and interpret policies to assess coverage.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements based on legal and business standards.
• Utilize estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms.
• Maintain timely and precise claim documentation in the claims system.
• Safeguard the company financially by adhering to policy agreements.
• A minimum of 2 years of claims experience, particularly in Casualty Bodily Injury claims.
• Preferred experience in claims investigation and negotiation.
• Familiarity with liability investigations.
• Experience in coverage investigations.
• Knowledge of PD coverage, set MOI, rental, and resolving liability is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work remotely from a home office in one of the designated U.S. time zones.
• A dedicated private workspace that is free from distractions.
• Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
• Suitable work surface and seating.
• Willingness to appear on camera during online meetings and training sessions.
• Consistent, predictable attendance is crucial.
• Candidates must undergo a background investigation.
• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hire, based on the office/area.
• Not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
