• Responsible for processing low-level property damage and bodily injury claims to ascertain the benefits owed.
• Ensure that claims are adjudicated in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Identify claims for subrogation and negotiate settlements with general oversight.
• Process low-level property and bodily injury claims by collecting information to assess liability exposure.
• Assign reserve values to claims, authorize necessary payments, and settle claims within designated authority limits.
• Develop and coordinate action plans for the resolution of low-level general liability claims.
• Facilitate return-to-work efforts and approve claim payments.
• Approve and process assigned claims, determine benefits owed, and implement action plans according to the claim or client contract.
• Oversee subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
• Communicate claim actions with claimants and clients.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Two (2) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or successful completion of Claims Representative training is required.
