Claims Representative – Casualty General Liability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve assigned Commercial General Liability Property Damage claims within authorized limits.

• Manage more intricate claims with minimal supervision.

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Regularly communicate with agents, insureds, and Commercial Lines to cultivate business partner relationships.

• Act as the primary contact for designated large customer accounts that require specialized communication and management.

• Ensure proper claim reserves are maintained through proactive investigation and continuous review.

• Provide assistance to other departments with investigations as necessary.

• Address general liability claims during peak workload periods.

• Effectively and efficiently manage the diary system and workload with limited supervision or direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualifications.

• A minimum of five years of claims experience.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Strong critical thinking skills.

• Proficiency in using personal computers.

• Capability to interact professionally with customers and agents.

• A state-specific adjuster’s license may be necessary.

• Preferred experience in handling commercial general liability property claims or frontline property claims for property-focused roles.

• Experience with Construction Defect cases is preferred.

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
