
Claims Representative, Auto – Property Damage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.
• Analyze and handle low to mid-level auto and transportation claims.
• Process claims related to auto property damage and lower-tier injury incidents.
• Evaluate damages, issue payments, and ensure that claim files are accurately documented and properly coded according to the policy.
• Create and uphold action plans to guarantee compliance with state-mandated contract deadlines and to facilitate prompt and suitable resolutions.
• Identify and pursue subrogation possibilities; manage and dispose of salvage as necessary.
• Communicate the status and processing of claims with the insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Conduct coverage, liability, and damage assessments on all assigned claims.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Contribute to the organization's quality program(s).
• Travel as necessary.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing personal line or commercial line property claims, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Obtain and maintain the required State adjusting licenses for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Capability to review and evaluate Property Damage estimates, total loss assessments, and related expenses to negotiate effectively on first and third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage documentation, and title requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively.
• Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office applications.
