• Collaborates with insurance company partners and clients to establish claims protocols and policy enhancements that guarantee appropriate reporting, notification, settlement, defense, and more.
• Plans and conducts claim reviews with clients and insurance company partners, ensuring proper claims management, reserve standards, and settlement protocols.
• Serves as a claims advocate and liaison for clients aiming to reduce claims costs.
• Frequently reviews individual claims within client portfolios, maintaining reserves and records in accordance with industry best practices.
• Acts as a mentor to colleagues when requested.
• Gains insight into marketing strategies and contributes to business development and renewal prospects by participating in client meetings to present the firm's approach to claims mitigation and resolution.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree
• Over 10 years of experience in claims and client/customer support roles within the insurance sector
• Strong knowledge and/or expertise in managing various commercial claims, including workers' compensation, property & casualty, management liability, professional liability, and/or other specialty claims
• Proficiency in the Spanish language is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
