Claims Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, and manage insurance claims

• Evaluate policy coverage for reported losses and determine suitable compensation amounts

• Collaborate closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to review pets' medical histories

• Establish a baseline for health

• Analyze policies to determine eligibility

• Generate and communicate claims decisions to policyholders

• Request medical records from providers as necessary

• Engage with clients and providers during treatment when required

• Carry out other assigned duties and responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the veterinary field for licensed technicians

• 5+ years of experience in the veterinary field for unlicensed assistants

• Must reside in Canada

• High school diploma, secondary school diploma, or GED is required

• Associate Degree or equivalent professional experience

• One year of relevant experience is considered equivalent to one year of college education

• Veterinary technician licensure is highly preferred
