Claims Examiner – Workers Compensation, FL, TN, CA, GA – Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Analyze Workers Compensation claims on behalf of our esteemed clients to identify benefits owed, while ensuring the ongoing adjudication of claims meets service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service criteria.

• Assess and process claims through well-structured action plans, leading to an appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to evaluate the claim's exposure.

• Negotiate claim settlements within the designated authority.

• Communicate claim activities and processing updates to both the claimant and the client.

• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Licensing in FL, GA, and TN is necessary.
