Claims Examiner – Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Evaluate workers' compensation claims on behalf of our esteemed clients to ascertain entitled benefits.

• Maintain the continuous adjudication of claims in alignment with service expectations, industry standards, and specific client service obligations.

• Negotiate settlements for claims within the defined authority limits.

• Communicate claim activities and processing details with both the claimant and the client.

• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction in a timely and professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of claims management experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

• Home state licensing is necessary for Southeast states.
