Claims Examiner – Product, Premise & Completed Operations Liability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Analyze intricate or technically challenging general liability claims to ascertain entitled benefits.

• Oversee claims using well-structured action plans to achieve suitable and prompt resolutions.

• Evaluate liability and resolve claims during the assessment process.

• Negotiate claim settlements within the assigned authority.

• Calculate and allocate timely and appropriate reserves for claims; ensure reserve adequacy throughout the claim's duration.

• Oversee the litigation process; guarantee swift and cost-effective resolution of claims.

• Communicate claim activities and processing updates with both the claimant and the client; uphold professional relationships with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in liability claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• A NY Adjuster's license is necessary or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

• A Home State license is required, with NY preferred or the obligation to acquire it within 90 days of employment.
