Claims Examiner II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Investigate claims assigned that are reported under insurance policies.

• Determine the necessary information and documents required for claims assessment.

• Communicate with insured parties, claimants, and others regarding the claims process.

• Collaborate with the Legal Department regarding coverage matters and compliance.

• Assess and analyze the liability of insured individuals.

• Create and maintain precise records and communications related to claims.

• Negotiate and settle assigned claims within the designated authority.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• At least one year of work experience.

• Familiarity with insurance contracts.

• Understanding of insurance claim procedures.

• Strong investigation skills.

• Proficient evaluation and analysis skills.

• Effective negotiation skills.

• Time management and prioritization abilities.
