This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Develop, sustain, and enhance Python-driven data processing workflows, which include ETL/ELT pipelines, automation scripts, and analytical models.
• Design and optimize data models, views, and warehouse structures in Snowflake to boost analytical performance and uphold data governance.
• Craft advanced, efficient SQL queries to transform Claims data and establish reusable data patterns.
• Create and implement Power BI dashboards, metrics layers, and semantic models to facilitate reporting and business insights.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to organizational standards.
• Manage tasks within a Sprint environment while juggling competing priorities.
• Spearhead cross-functional collaboration among Operations and other engineering teams throughout the engineering lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline—or +5 years of equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in SQL at an expert level (including query optimization, windowing functions, large dataset operations, and query performance tuning).
• Practical experience with Snowflake (warehouse configuration, data modeling, SQL, tasks/streams, and performance tuning).
• Skilled in Python for ETL/automation, data transformation, and analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with Power BI, encompassing semantic modeling, DAX, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities along with a keen business curiosity.
• Experience with GitHub or similar version control systems.
