This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify opportunities for operational reporting in collaboration with Claims department leadership.
• Create data and visual dashboards to quickly highlight necessary actions.
• Collaborate with leaders to integrate operational data and dashboards into daily and weekly management routines.
• Analyze Claims data using Domo, AWS Redshift, and Excel to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct data cleaning, validation, and quality checks within visualization tools.
• Convert business requirements into scalable business intelligence solutions for tracking KPIs.
• Construct complex dashboards and automated reporting systems that serve as operational controls.
• Develop a framework for understanding and efficiently utilizing operational claims data.
• Mentor fellow analysts.
• Design, test, and optimize intricate ETL workflows in Domo.
• Maintain and oversee data pipelines for both operational and strategic reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support data-driven decision-making.
• Over 3 years of experience in a data analytics role.
• At least 1 year of experience in Property Insurance or Claims.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Advanced skills in data and visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, or Power BI.
• Required proficiency in SQL programming at an advanced level.
• Proven capability to work with large datasets and effectively convey narratives through data visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of database structures and ETL processes.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
• Proven track record of gathering requirements and developing custom reporting solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, AWS Redshift, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ability to collect, validate, and analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and data validation skills.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
