This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Receive, evaluate, and report new claims to third-party administrators (TPAs), carriers, and claim partners.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of claim files, documentation, and follow-up processes.
• Act as a resource for employees and supervisors concerning claim reporting and status updates.
• Gather and manage incident reports, medical documentation, witness statements, and supporting records.
• Monitor work restrictions, return-to-work dates, and modified duty assignments.
• Follow up with employees, supervisors, providers, and adjusters to collect necessary information.
• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping, audits, insurance renewal requests, and compliance-related activities.
• Oversee claims-related correspondence, reports, and departmental administrative tasks.
• Elevate lost-time, litigated, or complex claims to the Claims Manager.
• Support workers’ compensation, auto liability, general liability, and property claims programs.
• Collaborate with employees, supervisors, carriers, TPAs, and other partners to ensure timely reporting, accurate recordkeeping, and a positive claims experience.
• An associate degree is preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in claims administration, workers’ compensation, safety, HR, risk management, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong customer service orientation and commitment to employee support.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Familiarity with claims management systems and handling sensitive information is preferred.
