This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Successfully complete the onboarding process and secure necessary state licensing.
• Acquire knowledge of insurance policy provisions and coverage specifics.
• Apply relevant regulations and finalize the evaluation process.
• Cultivate skills necessary for effective client interaction and support.
• Grasp the complete claims process and navigate the associated systems.
• Gain insights into building materials and components.
• Understand the basics of property damage estimation.
• Learn methods for collecting and assessing claim evidence.
• Evaluate policy coverage to determine the applicability of claims.
• Comprehend recovery processes and principles of liability.
• Develop strategies for resolving conflicts and disputes related to claims.
• Engage in on-site inspections and follow fieldwork protocols.
• Provide empathetic, customer-centric service throughout the claim lifecycle, encompassing coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution.
• Employ skills in policy interpretation and coverage assessment to guarantee fair and transparent claim results.
• Conduct thorough claim investigations, including site inspections, recorded statements, and evidence collection.
• Utilize estimating tools and systems for property damage evaluation.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve disputes and assist in subrogation and liability matters.
• Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and state regulations.
• Support catastrophe operations, including working additional hours during significant events or deploying to impacted areas.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, or at least one year of work or customer service experience is required.
• Acquire the Florida Adjuster's license within 60 days of employment.
• Obtain all other necessary state licenses within 90 days of employment.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
