This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Complete the onboarding process and acquire necessary state licensing.
• Familiarize yourself with insurance policy provisions and coverage specifics.
• Implement regulations and finalize the evaluation process.
• Enhance customer service and communication skills for effective client interaction and support.
• Understand the complete claims process and navigate relevant systems.
• Acquire knowledge about property construction, building elements, and materials.
• Grasp the fundamentals of property damage estimation.
• Collect and assess evidence related to claims.
• Evaluate policy coverage and determine the applicability of claims.
• Comprehend subrogation, recovery processes, and principles of liability.
• Address conflicts and resolve claim disputes.
• Engage in on-site inspections and fieldwork activities.
• Provide compassionate, customer-oriented service throughout the claim lifecycle, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution.
• Utilize policy interpretation and coverage evaluation skills to guarantee fair and transparent claim outcomes.
• Execute claim investigations, incorporating on-site inspections, recorded statements, and other evidence collection methods.
• Employ estimating tools and systems to evaluate property damage.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to settle disputes and assist with subrogation and liability processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and state regulations.
• Support catastrophe operations, which may include working extra hours during significant events or deploying to affected areas to assist policyholders.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, or a minimum of one year of work or customer service experience is required.
• Acquire the Florida Adjuster's license within 60 days of employment.
• Obtain all other necessary state licenses within 90 days of employment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
