Claims Adjuster – Liability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversees and modifies assigned claims while adhering to company standards and quality requirements.

• Conducts comprehensive investigations to assess coverage and the legitimacy of claims.

• Engages in interviews and maintains communication with insured parties, claimants, and witnesses.

• Inspects claim locations as necessary.

• Assigns external vendors when required.

• Prepares detailed reports and negotiates settlements within the scope of granted authority.

• Participates in mediation and arbitration processes as needed.

• Keeps precise records in accordance with company standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education.

• Holds or is in the process of obtaining a CIP designation.

• Must be licensed or able to secure a provisional license.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Demonstrated skills in adjusting and negotiating.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in computer usage.
