Claims Adjuster – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conducting investigations and managing assigned insurance claims.

• Confirming coverage and compensation amounts in accordance with insurance policies.

• Updating the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), processing payments, and finalizing claims.

• Potentially requesting medical records from healthcare providers.

• May engage in communication with clients and providers during the treatment process.

• Collaborates closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to assess and review a pet’s medical history to establish a health baseline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a veterinary clinic.

• Must have flexible availability as the department operates 24/7.

• Education: One of the following qualifications is necessary: Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One year of relevant experience is considered equivalent to one year of college); or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
