Claims Adjuster – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborates closely with veterinary clinics and policyholders to assess and review a pet’s medical history to establish a health baseline.

• Investigates and processes assigned insurance claims, verifies coverage and compensation amounts in accordance with the insurance policy.

• Updates the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), processes payments, and finalizes claims.

• May request medical records from healthcare providers.

• May interact with clients and providers throughout the treatment process.

• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic setting.

• Education: Must fulfill one of the following criteria: Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One year of relevant experience is equivalent to one year of college); or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).

• Licenses/Certifications: Must possess and maintain an Adjusters license or acquire one within 90 days of employment.

• Only candidates residing in the United States will be considered for this position.
