This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Conduct investigations, assessments, and resolutions of MPL and General Liability claims

• Engage with insured individuals, claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information

• Maintain documentation on related files concerning investigation outcomes

• Create reports to be filed on designated diary dates

• Establish and execute negotiation strategies, and negotiate settlements

• Update the Claim Director/S.V.P. of Claims regarding the status of claims

• Ensure prompt reporting to the Reserve and Settlement Committee

• Assess and confirm insurance coverage for claims

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

• R.N. or J.D. is preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in clinical nursing and/or claims management involving serious bodily injury

• Familiarity with medical, legal, and insurance terminology

• A valid driver's license is required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Training in contract/policy review and application is essential

• Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time is mandatory
