Advice Quality Consultant, File Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze advice files utilizing our tailored Advice Quality system, delivering clear and constructive feedback to members and clients.

• Work collaboratively with other Advice Quality Consultants to oversee the review pipeline and adhere to agreed turnaround times.

• Provide support to members and clients through phone and email communications, offering guidance and addressing inquiries with professionalism and care.

• Coordinate with technical teams to validate complex information and guarantee accuracy in all advice-related outputs.

• Organize and prioritize your own workload to satisfy SLAs, team objectives, and quality assurance standards.

• Enhance team development by sharing expertise, aiding new colleagues, and actively participating in meetings and broader business discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 4 qualification, with a relevant Mortgage Qualification.

• Solid understanding of FCA expectations and what defines a compliant, suitable advice file.

• Background in compliance, file reviewing, or advice quality (or strong transferable experience from a provider or intermediary setting).

• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient in using office-based IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

• Qualifications in Equity Release, Pension Transfer, or Long-Term Care (or a willingness to pursue these—we’ll provide support).

• Familiarity with digitized advice quality systems.

• Extensive technical and compliance knowledge acquired within the financial services sector.

• A self-motivated, pragmatic mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels.
