Civil Structural Engineer

• Becht is seeking a mid-career Civil Structural Engineer eager to advance in their technical profession.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or a closely related field.

• Over 5 years of civil and structural experience within the refining, petrochemical, or power generation sectors.

• Experience in foundation and structural design.

• Familiarity with plant layout and operations.

• Expertise in foundation and reinforced concrete design.

• Experience with refinery/plant equipment including tanks, plate structures, boilers, stacks, tabletop structures, and fired heater casings.

• A Professional and/or Structural Engineering License.

• Proficiency in the application of industry codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.

• Experience in field troubleshooting, repairs, and system walk-downs, along with the ability to travel to customer locations.

• Familiarity with turnaround support, planning, and execution.

• Proficiency in commercial software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Risa, or SAP2000.

• A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanics.

• Self-driven with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
