Civil Project Engineer II/III – Renewable Energy Structural Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create designs for steel piles and connections used in various structural applications.

• Develop designs for cast-in-place concrete slabs.

• Utilize knowledge of renewable energy systems and related terminology in structural design.

• Aid in the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

• Provide support for project and task management activities.

• Participate in marketing initiatives and the development of proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree is preferred).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing solar structures.

• Possession of a PE License is advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in structural design software, particularly LPile, Mathcad, and Excel.

• Experience with AutoCAD for plan development.

• Familiarity with the interoperability between Excel and AutoCAD for generating pile plot plans is a plus.
