Civil Project Engineer II/III – Renewable Energy Structural Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct both routine and intricate designs for steel piles and steel connections.

• Execute routine and complex designs for cast-in-place concrete slabs.

• Possess a strong understanding of general renewable energy terminology.

• Support the development of project scope, schedules, and budgets.

• Aid in the management of projects and associated tasks.

• Contribute to marketing efforts and the creation of proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in solar structure design is required.

• A PE License is an advantage.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Proficiency in structural design software, particularly LPile, Mathcad, and Excel.

• Competence in using AutoCAD for plan development.

• Experience with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability for creating pile plot plans is a plus.
