Civil Litigation Attorney – Experienced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee a caseload that may encompass: Real estate litigation, Business litigation

• Guide cases from intake strategy to resolution (settlement, mediation/arbitration, or trial)

• Formulate case-specific legal strategies that align with client objectives

• Maintain proactive timelines for case management

• Draft and present both dispositive and non-dispositive motions; oversee hearings

• Lead discovery strategy initiatives

• Conduct and defend depositions; prepare witnesses thoroughly

• Represent clients in court for both contested and uncontested matters

• Communicate consistently and clearly with clients

• Continuously enhance templates, workflows, and internal processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Active New Mexico Bar license (in good standing)

• Experience in trial and motions practice required (involvement in jury or bench trials and comfort with court appearances)

• Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience

• Strong understanding of the New Mexico Rules of Civil Procedure

• Capability to manage disputes through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial

• Professional judgment, responsiveness, and effective client communication in a remote setting
