This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Litigation Management: Supervise all stages of litigation from the initiation of cases through to trial, including formulating case strategies, discovery processes, and settlement discussions.
• Client Consultation: Engage with clients to comprehend their legal challenges, offer legal counsel, and devise effective strategies.
• Court Representation: Advocate for clients during court hearings, trials, and arbitration sessions, ensuring top-tier representation consistently.
• Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to guide case strategy and bolster legal arguments.
• Drafting Legal Documents: Create a range of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests that are well-articulated, clear, and compelling.
• Trial Preparation: Work alongside paralegals and support staff to assemble trial materials, which include witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions.
• Case Analysis: Assess cases, pinpoint issues, and offer recommendations for optimal courses of action.
• Client Relations: Foster robust communication with clients, providing consistent updates regarding case status and developments.
• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
• Licensing: Must be licensed to practice law in California and possess a solid understanding of both state and federal litigation processes.
• Experience: At least 3 years of litigation experience, particularly focused on personal injury or employment law cases.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and courtroom abilities, alongside strong legal writing skills.
• Trial Experience: Demonstrated trial experience with the capability to effectively represent clients in high-pressure situations.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
