Cinematic Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the daily operations of assigned teams, ensuring they are not obstructing or being obstructed by other teams, either upstream or downstream.

• Quickly assessing risks and collaborating with your Lead to implement effective mitigations, which are communicated swiftly and efficiently across the team.

• Guaranteeing clarity of objectives and deliverables across all disciplines, not limited to your own area.

• Following established processes to provide feedback to your team while minimizing randomness.

• Daily project upkeep: managing bug triage, refining the backlog, and unblocking teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably three years of experience in the games industry within an internal development setting in either a production or development capacity.

• Possesses a strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies.

• Proficient in Jira and/or Shotgrid, with an eagerness to learn new production software and processes.

• Experience in production across various cinematic disciplines.

• A motivated individual who can inspire teams to collaborate effectively even in challenging situations.

• Capable of communicating with all levels within the company, from Studio Head to Junior Developer.

• Familiarity with videogame cinematography concepts and terminology, or a readiness to learn swiftly.

• A passion for videogames and cinema.

• A strong eagerness to learn.

• Able to present data and discuss it, even when it may be unfavorable.

• Proactive in seeking solutions to issues beyond their immediate responsibility.

• Equally skilled in leading reviews with Directors and facilitating daily scrums.

• Flexible to adapt to the project's needs.

• Understands the significance of accountability, approaches challenges proactively, and fosters clear, open, and honest communication within and across teams.

• Demonstrates integrity by openly communicating about progress and setbacks, taking responsibility for both personal and team results.
