This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, implement, and enhance allocation and optimization algorithms for the distribution of products between Distribution Centers and stores.
• Maintain and improve inventory simulators for scenario evaluation, testing of replenishment policies, and backtesting and what-if analyses.
• Transform prototypes and models created in notebooks into productive, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize large-scale data pipelines to support analytical and operational models.
• Analyze business indicators such as service level, stockouts, inventory turnover, and fill rate, generating insights to support strategic decisions.
• Communicate results, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to business areas and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams in building, operating, and evolving pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of analytical solutions in production.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of supply models, planning, and inventory management.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of best practices in Data Science, analytical engineering, and development of scalable solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Solid experience in Data Science, with the development and implementation of solutions applied to business challenges.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, including libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data.
• Understanding of statistics and probability applied to forecasting models, inventory management, and service level indicators.
• Experience with PySpark for processing and transforming large volumes of data.
• Background in building, maintaining, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services, particularly Glue and S3.
• Analytical skills to transform data into insights and strategic recommendations.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with business areas and technical teams.
• Differentiator: knowledge of Polars.
