This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop diagnostic, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models and analyses using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to support data-driven decision-making;

• Continuously enhance existing models to improve their performance;

• Combine the creation of complex statistical models with specific business challenges, ensuring increasingly higher rates of low-risk automatic approvals;

• Merge high-quality model project execution with rapid delivery, addressing the demands and specifics of each segment;

• Stay updated on new practices in data science;

• Utilize statistical sampling and modeling techniques to pinpoint areas for business improvement;

• Employ clustering techniques to identify customer profiles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed a degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields;

• Possesses knowledge of data science algorithms and coding skills in Python;

• Familiar with version control and code review processes (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, etc.), model monitoring in production, and experimentation methodologies (e.g., A/B testing);

• Experience in creating data products, handling large data sets, and utilizing tools (e.g., Spark, Dask, etc.);

• Knowledgeable in SQL and the Data Science Toolkit (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, notebooks, etc.) and predictive models.
