Child and Adolescent Intake Therapist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide High-Quality Intake Evaluations: Conduct individual in-person and telehealth intake sessions for youth aged 2–26, employing evidence-based assessment techniques tailored to each patient's developmental stage and distinct needs.

• Establish Meaningful Initial Connections: Dedicate adequate time to patients and families to genuinely comprehend their experiences, educate them about the therapeutic options offered at Blackbird, and deliver a warm, supportive introduction to care.

• Facilitate Strong Clinical Matches: Perform comprehensive assessments and create personalized care plans that ensure each patient is linked to the appropriate ongoing treatment and provider.

• Collaborate for Integrated Care: Work alongside clinicians, medical professionals, and families to develop coordinated treatment plans that address the holistic needs of the child. Participate in optional weekly clinical consultations to enhance your clinical expertise.

• Uphold Clinical Excellence: Ensure meticulous intake documentation and patient records. Aim for the highest clinical and technical quality in all facets of your work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an independent license as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD/PhD in Pennsylvania.

• At least 1 year of experience working with child and adolescent patients.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a telehealth or virtual environment.

• Must possess your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet access.

• Availability for at least 8 hours per week during core hours, after 4pm Monday through Friday and 8am–7pm on weekends.
