Child & Adolescent Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based treatment to individuals and groups, including patients and their families.

• Utilize measurement-based care to guide treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with members of the care team, such as coaches and psychiatrists.

• Offer feedback on program curricula and training methods.

• Provide input on the various uses of technology in treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about risk management considerations.

• Ensure timely and comprehensive documentation.

• Engage in initial and ongoing training regarding the use of evidence-based and technology-enhanced care delivery.

• Lead skills or skills practice groups as assigned. These age-specific groups, designed for patients or parents/caregivers, emphasize skill development and application based on the InStride Health curriculum. The groups are grounded in CBT while incorporating elements of ACT and PMT.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. or PsyD in psychology from an accredited institution, LCSW from an accredited school of social work, or LPC with a Master's degree from an accredited graduate program.

• Possession of Texas licensure relevant to the clinical discipline.

• Strong experience in treating children and adolescents with anxiety and related disorders.

• Training and experience in providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT).

• Basic computer skills along with a willingness to embrace new technologies.

• Exceptional written and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Capable of being flexible and adaptable, thriving both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

• Culturally aware and responsive, considering diversity and inclusion.

• Competent in managing sensitive and confidential information in a way that fosters trust and confidence.
