Chief of Staff – Growth

Posted Jun 21

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Ensure the CGO remains aligned with the organization by monitoring decisions, assigning owners, and following up to guarantee execution.

• Organize and manage the CGO’s calendar and workflow, ensuring their time is allocated to the most impactful activities.

• Facilitate organizational and logistical meetings, offsites, and gatherings focusing on growth.

• Equip the CGO for critical internal and external meetings with succinct briefings and ensure timely follow-ups are executed.

• Act as an orchestrator and integrator, making certain that the appropriate individuals are prepared, aligned, and accountable regarding the CGO’s priorities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Product, and Operations.

• Collaborate with the CGO to establish and uphold annual and quarterly growth priorities, including key initiatives and focus areas.

• Manage the CGO’s operational rhythm (e.g., leadership meetings, MBRs/QBRs, weekly growth check-ins, 1:1s), ensuring agendas, materials, and participants align with current priorities.

• Convert strategic priorities into actionable plans with assigned owners, timelines, and checkpoints; monitor progress and identify risks, blockers, or trade-offs.

• Prepare briefing documents and talking points for Board meetings, executive discussions, and critical internal and external engagements.

• Maintain an overarching view of essential relationships with agencies, school districts, partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring the CGO is well-prepared and that follow-ups are completed—without directly acting as the primary salesperson.

• Function as an extension of the CGO, helping prioritize their focus and organizing the schedule to reflect strategic priorities while minimizing context switching.

• Conduct pre-briefs and debriefs for significant meetings; document and track decisions, action items, and follow-ups, ensuring accountability among owners and reporting back.

• Collaborate closely with any executive assistant support and serve as a filter and “traffic controller” for incoming requests, directing items to the appropriate leaders while safeguarding the CGO’s focus.

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate organizational meetings and gatherings related to growth (e.g., revenue leadership offsites, growth summits, workshops, key customer or partner events).

• Design and conduct effective meetings, including drafting agendas, preparing materials, providing facilitation support, and achieving clear outcomes.

• Act as a connector across Revenue, Product/Technology, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless information flow and alignment on priorities.

• Draft and refine clear, concise internal communications on behalf of the CGO (updates, organizational changes, priorities, recognition).

• Ensure alignment among revenue and growth leadership on goals, metrics, and initiatives; proactively identify and resolve misalignments.

• Assist in organizational design, headcount planning, and hiring discussions by coordinating inputs, synthesizing perspectives, and ensuring follow-through on decisions.
