This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with the executive team to create and implement policies, procedures, and programs that enhance quality improvement and operational effectiveness.

• Support the development and maintenance of relationships/agreements with external partners, contractors, and vendors.

• Formulate and execute the organization’s clinical vision, strategies, and objectives, ensuring alignment with its goals and mission.

• Oversee staff involved in Value-Based Payment (VBP) and Performance Management activities.

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to craft and implement long-term strategies for growth and sustainability.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends, research, and best practices in healthcare to ensure the organization remains a leader in medical advancements.

• Monitor performance metrics and operational efficiency in value-based payment arrangements, making necessary adjustments to achieve the best results.

• Consistently assess the effectiveness of business procedures in line with organizational objectives and implement enhancements.

• Build relationships with FLIPA Member providers to promote VBP and related programs, incorporating member needs into the strategic plan.

• Engage in budget review, financial planning, and resource allocation to uphold financial health and sustainability.

• Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to aid in the development, implementation, and regular review of policies and procedures.

• Lead interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing among medical professionals and staff.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous quality improvement by monitoring key performance indicators and initiating strategies to optimize healthcare delivery.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine and current Board Certification.

• Extensive experience with Medicare and Medicaid, possessing a comprehensive understanding of risk adjustment and value-based programs, along with state and federal regulations.
