Chief Information Security Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the organization’s cybersecurity strategy.

• Direct the Security team responsible for Enterprise IT Security, Application Security, Threat Detection and Response, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, as well as other security operations.

• Manage risk assessment processes, policies, and controls.

• Promote secure-by-design principles throughout infrastructure, applications, and custodial integrations.

• Lead the incident response program from detection to post-mortem analysis.

• Supervise ongoing scanning of enterprise systems.

• Provide counsel on data initiatives across the organization.

• Create and uphold third-party risk management policies.

• Foster and maintain a culture that prioritizes security awareness.

• Convert technical risks into business implications for leadership and the board.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position related to information security and IT.

• Previous experience in financial technology, publicly traded companies, or regulated settings is advantageous.

• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly sought after, though not mandatory.

• Demonstrated proactive leadership capabilities.

• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced growth environment.

• Must reside in and possess work authorization for the United States.
