Chief Financial Officer

📋 Description

• Serve as a true partner to our CEO, providing candid insights and guidance to help him make informed decisions on strategic investments.

• Take charge of our equity narrative and enhance the company's valuation. Manage earnings calls, investor relations, forecasts, and the capital structure, demonstrating the potential we envision.

• Identify financial resources. Optimize every dollar that isn't contributing effectively, directing funds towards impactful initiatives.

• Drive operational efficiency. Immerse yourself in DTC economics, customer segments, payback periods, contribution margins, and retention strategies, fueling our successes.

• Manage the balance sheet prudently. Maintain liquidity, strengthen lender relationships, and ensure we are robust enough to pursue growth opportunities.

• Embrace an AI-first approach. We aim for a more agile, efficient, and automated finance team rather than simply expanding headcount.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have experience as a CFO of a public company or have acted as the deputy performing the role without the official title.

• Experience with small-cap, microcap, or turnaround situations is advantageous, not a drawback.

• You have successfully engaged with investors, analysts, and lenders, commanding respect even in challenging discussions.

• You have negotiated with capital providers during financially stringent times, securing both agreements and lasting partnerships.

• You have implemented processes that significantly alter a company’s trajectory, including mergers and acquisitions and exploring strategic options.

• You understand metrics such as cohorts, payback periods, and contribution margins intuitively.

• You are fluent in DTC and subscription economics, rather than needing to familiarize yourself with these concepts.

• You have successfully reduced costs without compromising future growth, treating the company’s finances as if they were your own.

• You have empowered a small finance team to achieve exceptional results, preferring to utilize an AI agent over adding new personnel.

• You are committed to generating value for shareholders while making a positive impact in the world, and you are weary of the notion that you must choose between the two.
