This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Define and take ownership of an ambitious, multi-year vision for the brand, ensuring alignment with saas.group objectives while remaining acutely aware of a rapidly evolving competitive landscape.
• Spearhead the upmarket strategy: refine positioning, product offerings, and go-to-market initiatives to attract larger clients while maintaining the simplicity and user-friendliness that has always characterized the product.
• Establish benchmarks for product velocity and shipping frequency, ensuring that the team consistently delivers new capabilities.
• Develop our latest growth engines from initial success into sustainable, substantial revenue streams.
• Manage commercial performance comprehensively: generate new revenue through PLG, inbound, and sales-led initiatives, prioritizing retention and revenue as top concerns.
• Promote operational excellence: oversee the P&L, create budgets, monitor essential KPIs, and implement processes that facilitate efficient scaling of the business.
• Encourage innovation by identifying disruptive trends (including AI, both as a customer segment and a tool), experimenting with new business models, and making data-driven decisions.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing, fully remote leadership team, advocate for a strong culture that aligns with saas.group values, and represent the brand externally to customers, partners, and the broader PLG SaaS community.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a CEO, GM, or senior executive within a B2B PLG SaaS organization, with a proven history of driving growth and developing lasting businesses.
• Ability to formulate and implement strategy across PLG, sales-led, and partnership approaches, with the discernment to make decisive market and product decisions.
• Experience in scaling a product through an upmarket transition, balancing enterprise-grade functionality with a straightforward, appealing user experience.
• A strong inclination towards delivering results: you understand how to establish a high product velocity and maintain a healthy, sustainable pace of work for the team.
• Solid financial expertise: budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L oversight. Familiarity with the dynamics of payments, payouts, and fintech-related product lines is a significant advantage.
• Proficient with the SaaS PLG growth toolkit, and ideally the rapidly evolving AI customer segment we serve.
• A talent magnet and effective people leader: adept at recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent remotely, setting clear goals, holding teams accountable, addressing performance issues decisively, and conveying a compelling vision to both internal and external stakeholders.
• AI literacy and its practical application: you actively utilize AI tools to enhance your productivity and work quality, maintain curiosity about emerging capabilities, and seek pragmatic ways to implement AI in daily tasks. Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English.
