Chief Engineer, Container Vessel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Russia.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the secure cargo operations and upkeep of the vessel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency (STCW Reg II/2) with verification.

• Holder of necessary STCW certifications pertinent to the role.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Minimum experience requirement: 4 months in Rank on a similar type/size of vessel.

• Experience on vessels of the same tonnage is essential.

• Recommended experience with Steam Turbines cargo pump systems.

• Familiarity with Crude Oil and Ship-to-Ship (STS) cargo operations.

• Recommended experience in trading areas of the USA and Australia.
