Chief Engineer, Bulk Carrier

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Leads the Engine room team to guarantee the efficient operation of engines and machinery equipment.

• Prior experience in repairs and dry docking is essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months of experience in the rank with engine types (MAN B&W 2-stroke with an output of 8000 kW and above).

• Familiarity with electronic engines is a plus.

• Experience with cargo gear, specifically deck cranes with a 30MT SWL, is required.

• Previous experience in trading areas such as the USA and Australia is advisable.

• Must possess valid STCW certifications relevant to the role.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities are necessary.

• Proficient English communication skills are required.

• A commitment to safety culture and mindset is essential.

• Experience in a multicultural working environment is beneficial.
