This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will take on comprehensive strategic, operational, and organizational responsibility for DEHIB’s communications function.
• You will consistently enhance the communications strategy and execute it alongside your team.
• You will oversee the association’s internal and external communications.
• You will sustainably advance our brand identity and DEHIB’s market positioning.
• You will ensure a professional, cohesive, and contemporary external presence across all communication platforms.
• You will manage communication initiatives that align with our strategic goals.
• You will be in charge of DEHIB’s press and media relations.
• You will cultivate dependable relationships with media, institutions, and relevant stakeholders.
• You will coordinate governmental and political affairs.
• You will create communication strategies for political and societal issues.
• You will assist the federal board during public appearances and in strategically positioning the association.
• You will oversee DEHIB’s digital communications.
• You will continuously improve our social media and online communication efforts.
• You will manage DEHIB’s website, focusing on its structure, content, and ongoing development.
• You will coordinate the production of high-quality communication and marketing materials.
• You will guarantee a professional and consistent brand presence across all digital channels.
• You will independently refine the communications sector.
• You will establish processes, responsibilities, and workflows within the department.
• You will build a high-performing volunteer communications team.
• You will coordinate collaboration with other departments, including HR, Digitalization, Fundraising, and Project Management.
• You will ensure transparent coordination and foster a professional communication culture within the association.
• Several years of experience in communication, corporate communications, marketing, public relations, or related fields.
• Experience in brand development and management is a plus.
• Familiarity with press work, media communication, or public affairs is desirable.
• Experience in digital marketing and social media management.
• A structured, independent, and strategic approach to work.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• A passion for leading volunteer teams and motivating individuals.
• An interest in social impact as well as modern association and organizational development.
• Excellent German language skills (C1/C2) and proficient use of Microsoft 365 are required.
• A high level of strategic and operational autonomy.
