This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design challenging chemistry problems that emulate real scientific processes.

• Develop deterministic tasks that have a single correct answer along with comprehensive verified solutions.

• Create problems that require intensive reasoning and are grounded in computational methods.

• Utilize Python and, when relevant, domain-specific chemistry tools or simulation packages.

• Ensure that all tasks are reproducible, technically accurate, and thoroughly documented.

• Compose concise and rigorous technical explanations in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry or a related discipline.

• Experience in research or industry that involves computational or quantitative chemistry workflows.

• Proficient in Python; familiarity with scientific libraries is essential.

• Strong grasp of modeling, numerical methods, and chemical reasoning.

• Capability to design original, complex problems that exceed basic textbook knowledge.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong technical writing skills.

• Preferred: Experience with computational chemistry, cheminformatics, spectroscopy analysis, molecular modeling, or specialized chemistry software.

• Experience in professional chemistry workflows that include simulation or data analysis tools.

• Experience in creating technical evaluation content.
