This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the culinary and daily operations of corporate or school cafés

• Maintain standards for food quality, production, execution, and presentation

• Aid in event planning and catering services

• Conduct inspections of supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with standards

• Procure food and supplies while upholding receiving quality-control practices

• Establish production schedules and staffing requirements as necessary

• Facilitate payroll processing and uphold safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform, and productivity standards

• Gather and document production or operational data

• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and account retention

• Handle daily financial transactions for the unit and oversee controllable department expenses and P&L

• Prepare financial reports for the corporate office and assist with financial recordkeeping

• Recruit, hire, terminate, evaluate, and oversee unit staff

• Train and supervise cooks and other food service personnel

• Deliver attentive and friendly customer service, greeting and thanking customers

• Work in kitchen and office settings and perform additional assigned tasks


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Over 5 years of experience in food service management

• ServSafe Certification

• Choke Safety Certification

• Allergen Awareness Certification (MA)

• Strong customer/client orientation

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to adapt to change and foster agility

• Competence in conflict resolution and working effectively under pressure

• Skills in performance management, employee coaching, and development

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred

• Capability to operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers, and chef’s knives

• Physical ability to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Manual dexterity along with auditory and visual skills

• Capability to follow both written and oral instructions and procedures
