This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Assess operational adherence to safety standards, flight operations, maintenance procedures, and company policies.
• Provide both initial and recurring ground and flight training.
• Conduct transition, differences, and ROC ground and flight training sessions.
• Identify and report non-compliance issues promptly and collaborate with aviation and maintenance leadership to resolve outstanding matters.
• Support the scheduling of flight and ground training activities.
• Ensure compliance with standardized training and evaluation procedures.
• Aid in maintaining pilot records in line with relevant FARs and organizational policies.
• Timely submission of required reports is essential.
• Operate advanced aviation training devices and full-motion simulators as needed.
• Contribute to the development of aircraft checklists and pilot training programs.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of basic indoctrination, instrument, NVG, initial, and recurrent training.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High school diploma or GED with three to five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience as an Instructor or Check Airman is required.
• A Commercial/Instrument rating is mandatory.
• Candidates must fulfill total flight hour requirements.
• CFI / CFII (Rotor wing) certification or a commitment to obtain it within one year is necessary.
• An ATP rating in the applicable aircraft category is preferred.
• A recommendation from a current Air Methods Flight Instructor or Check Airman is favored.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to implement initial and recurrent training programs is required.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with all organizational levels.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Regular attendance is expected.
• Candidates are subject to DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing regulations.
