This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Assist customers in real-time as a fully remote Chat Support Agent through live chat.
• Promptly and professionally address customer inquiries via live chat and messaging platforms.
• Accurately and efficiently resolve questions related to products, services, and accounts.
• Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while ensuring high quality.
• When needed, escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Accurately log all chat interactions in the CRM or helpdesk system.
• Contribute to enhancing chat scripts, FAQs, and support documentation.
• Achieve response time targets and meet customer satisfaction (CSAT) score benchmarks.
• At least 1 year of experience in live chat support, customer service, or a related role.
• Fast and precise typing skills, with a minimum of 45 words per minute.
• Excellent written communication skills that are clear, friendly, and professional.
• Ability to handle multiple chats at once without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with helpdesk or chat tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshchat, or similar platforms.
• Patient, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• A reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection is essential.
• A Matric certificate is required.
