This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and nurture relationships with captive managers and brokers.
• Recognize and assess opportunities within captive and broker accounts.
• Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for risk management and safety audiences.
• Take ownership of strategic account planning and pipeline development.
• Travel to conferences, broker offices, and client locations (~15% travel).
• Collaborate with internal teams on pilot implementations and customer onboarding.
• Create a repeatable playbook for the captive/broker market segment.
• Over 7 years of experience in insurance, risk management, or a related field (broker, carrier, captive manager).
• Proven sales or business development expertise - beyond mere account management.
• Established connections with captive managers or major brokers.
• Deep understanding of workers' compensation, captives, and self-insured structures.
• Proficient in presenting to senior stakeholders and cultivating executive relationships.
• Openness to travel and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
