CG Art Director – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Establish art direction systems for the healthcare and consumer electronics sectors, covering aspects such as lighting logic, camera language, material behavior, composition, color control, use-context, screen treatment, packaging hierarchy, and product readability.

• Oversee projects related to medical devices, personal care technology, diagnostic products, wearables, smart home devices, appliances, accessories, packaging, and connected hardware.

• Critically evaluate renders with a discerning eye, focusing on reflection control, plastic response, metal finish, glass behavior, edge definition, lighting falloff, screen glow, shadow language, scale cues, and compositing.

• Collaborate with CGI artists, 3D generalists, technical artists, retouchers, producers, and client teams to transition from brief to image while maintaining the integrity of the product.

• Assist in developing production methods that allow for multiple controlled outputs from a single product asset or scene setup.

• Ensure the visual quality standards are upheld across projects that frequently involve various teams, markets, formats, and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in art-directing product visualization, CGI, photography, 3D content, or high-volume visual production.

• Strong discernment in lighting, materials, composition, product storytelling, camera behavior, color management, and brand consistency.

• Background in healthcare, medical devices, personal care, consumer electronics, technology, appliances, packaging, or other technical product sectors.

• Practical knowledge of CGI production processes such as models, materials, render passes, compositing, asset reuse, scene assembly, and visual quality assurance.

• Experience working collaboratively with artists, producers, retouchers, technical artists, pipeline teams, and client stakeholders.
