• Delivers client-focused assessment, counseling, and case management services for individuals dealing with substance use disorders (SUD).
• Aids clients via telehealth by providing evidence-based interventions.
• Coordinates care and fosters long-term recovery in accordance with Hawaiʻi state CSAC standards and UHP policies.
• Commits to a minimum of 20 hours per week, working between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM based on client and program requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Current Hawaiʻi CSAC, CADC, LADC, SAP, or an equivalent certification.
• Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, or related human services.
• Strong knowledge of SUD treatment principles, recovery models, and community resources within Hawaiʻi.
• Capability to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR), telehealth platforms, and digital communication tools.
• Exceptional communication, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven cultural humility and dedication to equitable, patient-centered care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in managing a diverse caseload.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and confidentiality standards.
