Certified Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop production-quality AI systems, encompassing RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations.

• Take full ownership of backend services, APIs, and data pipelines from start to finish, utilizing Python as the primary programming language.

• Engage directly with AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, and RDS.

• Convert vague client specifications into clearly defined technical decisions and delivery strategies.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation to effectively manage cloud environments.

• Utilize AI-assisted development workflows on a daily basis, extending beyond mere autocomplete to include architecture, reviews, and speed enhancement.

• Collaborate with engineering teams from clients, internal architects, and delivery leaders across both EU and US time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Anthropic certification at any level (mandatory, strict requirement).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in building and maintaining production systems, not limited to demos and proofs of concept.

• Proficient in Python, including expertise in OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance optimization.

• Practical experience with AWS services pertinent to your area of expertise.

• Background in constructing analytical data pipelines utilizing SQL or Spark.

• Strong grasp of GenAI principles: including prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, embedding models, and LLM assessment.

• Proven ability to make and justify architectural trade-off decisions.

• B2 level English or above, comfortable engaging in client-facing technical dialogues.

• Self-sufficient working style: you recognize tasks that need attention and take initiative to address them.
