This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Handle incoming phone calls from patients and healthcare providers.
• Input prescription orders into the system accurately.
• Assist pharmacists and patients by ensuring compliance with Specialty Rx-specific operational processes designed to enhance health outcomes.
• Interpret and apply area/department policies, practices, and methods for task completion, allowing for some independent judgment and discretion.
• Operate within established guidelines to define work expectations and maintain quality standards.
• Function with minimal supervision.
• Must possess an active license from the Board of Pharmacy in your state of residence (Ohio, Florida, or Arizona).
• Must hold national certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or experience in a pharmacy call center or a similar call center environment.
• A critical thinker capable of anticipating member/customer needs, taking initiative, asking pertinent questions, and providing the highest quality customer service.
• A problem solver who can identify practical solutions that meet member/customer needs, even in the absence of ideal tools and resources.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Moderate proficiency in Excel.
