This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the overall design and management of construction contracts, including the creation and implementation of contract management tools.
• Collaborate with leadership in the Contracts team and other business stakeholders to effectively navigate intricate operations and spending initiatives.
• Comprehend relevant deal-to-contract policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
• Actively engage with partners to facilitate budget planning and monitor financial commitments.
• Create contract templates and clause libraries, and oversee the contract review processes and procedures.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships to ensure positive engagement concerning complex contracting matters.
• Coordinate and drive the resolution of critical business issues involving legal, risk management, corporate contracts, and leadership.
• Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries related to contracts within functional programs.
• Offer guidance and internal support for functional programs regarding optimal deal structuring.
• Verify that signed contracts are complete and effectively communicated to all pertinent parties.
• Review existing policies and procedures to enhance the overall process from quote generation to contract signing.
• Share best practices and deliver training to improve the quality and efficiency of contracting processes.
• Function as a liaison between Project Controls, Construction Managers, and the general contractor to enforce contractual agreements.
• Oversee and coordinate various projects and responsibilities related to contract management.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, and supply chain operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Legal Studies, Business Administration, English, Engineering, or Construction Administration.
• Proficient in all Google applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Tasks) and Adobe Sign (or a similar electronic signing tool).
