This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated projects and/or cases

• Execute call-center initiatives and offer telephone assistance to patients, healthcare providers, and funding organizations

• Address funding and access challenges, including private, public, and special access programs, along with compliance initiatives

• Administer and comply with case-management protocols, which include clinical monitoring, data gathering, patient follow-up, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation oversight, adverse event reporting, and collaboration with primary healthcare providers

• Carry out pharmaceutical and biotechnology market research projects with physicians, patients, pharmacists, and allied health professionals

• Conduct outbound calls as part of patient engagement programs

• Record each activity in program-specific databases

• Attend refresher and specialized training sessions

• Provide insights on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental interactions

• Communicate case-management updates during periods of absence

• Engage in training new caseworkers through observation and call monitoring

• Report adverse events to designated units/departments

• Aid reimbursement processes and coordinate benefits documentation, case updates, follow-up, and reimbursement communications

• Resolve routine reimbursement challenges, documentation discrepancies, and workflow exceptions

• Maintain precise case records, reimbursement documentation, and system updates

• Monitor reimbursement patterns, recurring challenges, and escalation signals

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate case resolution

• Contribute to process enhancements, workflow revisions, and operational readiness initiatives


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is mandatory

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support services, case coordination, claims support, or a related field is required

• Certification in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, customer relationship management systems, or process enhancement is preferred
